Safe. Light. Flexible.
Spear's highly-configurable Trident marine batteries offer multiple cell chemistries with a common interface and an advanced safety system.
Leaders in Battery Storage
Advantages of Spear’s Marine Battery Technology
Trident's racked or stacked form factors provide designers maximum flexibility to optimize the volumetric efficiency of battery propulsion for applications from passenger ferries to work boats. Although lithium ion batteries can have a reputation for catching fire, our battery management systems monitor the charge of each cell group, managing the temperature, charge, and discharge rates, depending on what is needed. Our BMS prevents overcharging or discharging, as well.

Spear's safe, reliable energy storage systems offer exceptional performance in the most demanding applications. Examples of specific applications include offshore vessels, rigs, port cranes, tugboats, yachts, fishing vessels, shipping vessels, and submarines.
